Privacy Policy

Allata Money ("we", "us") provides a personal financial planning application. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can remove it.

Information we collect

• Account information. Email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up with email, Google or Apple. We never see or store your password in plain text.
• Financial information you enter. Income, expenses, assets, debts, scenarios and any custom line items you add.
• Connected account information. If you choose to link a financial institution, we receive account name, account type, account mask (last digits) and current balance.
• Billing information. Subscription status and identifiers from our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Connecting accounts through Plaid

Account linking is optional. When you use it, we connect through Plaid Inc. You enter your bank credentials directly into Plaid Link — those credentials are never seen, transmitted or stored by Allata Money.

• We request only the Auth and Balance products.
• Access is read-only. We cannot and do not initiate payments, transfers or any movement of money.
• We store account name, type, mask and current balance so your net worth and cash flow views stay up to date. We do not store bank credentials or full account numbers.
• When you unlink an institution, we ask Plaid to remove the connection and delete the related records from our database.

Plaid's handling of your information is governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

How we use information

• To display your own net worth, cash flow, projections and scenarios.
• To provide the features you request, including AI-assisted guidance you initiate.
• To operate accounts, subscriptions and customer support.
• To maintain security and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service. Our current subprocessors are listed on our Security page.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual entries at any time, unlink connected institutions at any time, or delete your account — which removes your profile, financial entries and any linked-account records.

Your choices

• Access, correct or export the data you have entered.
• Unlink any connected institution.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page and revise the date above when this policy changes materially.
